Gina Marie Brower Obituary

Gina Marie Brower (Bernini), 61 of Norwalk passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday February 2, 2025 at Norwalk Hospital. She was born in Kittery, ME, the daughter of Donald Bernini of Port Charlotte, Fl and Carol Bernini of Norwalk, CT. She is predeceased by her son Jason Brower, stepfather Charles Lopriore, brother-in-law Shawn Murphy and sister-in-law Nina Aarons.

Gina graduated from Norwalk High School class of 1981. After graduation she worked in various jobs including Gateway Bank and Stew Leonard's. In her later years she enjoyed taking care of infants while working at Busy Bodies Daycare and then became a caretaker for the elderly. During her life she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Her many hobbies included bowling, arts & crafts, working many craft fairs, playing board games and word search puzzles. She also loved to collect panda bears.

Gina's greatest accomplishments were her two children Jason and Shannon whom she loved beyond measure and was extremely proud of for all of their accomplishments.

Gina is survived by her daughter Shannon Brower and fiancé Terrance Gass, her loving grandchildren Zachary and Hailey Gass, her brother William Bernini, two sisters Lisa Bernini (Anthony Calise) and Nicole Memoli-Murphy. She was loved by her many nieces and nephews including great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Her family will receive friends on Sunday February 9, from 2 to 4 pm at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue Norwalk: Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Monday at 10:00 AM for graveside services to be held Monday February 10 at 10:30 AM at Riverside Cemetery , 81 Riverside Avenue Norwalk.
