He was predeceased by: his father Fred MacArthur; his sister Emily Ragsdale; and his former wife Cynthia Burke. He is survived by: his mother Kathleen Mac Arthur; his wife Emilse MacArthur of Norwalk; his children, Gina Martin, Douglas MacArthur and Vanessa Mac Arthur; his grandchildren, Donesha Foster, LaQuiya MacArthur and Eleni Braga; and his great grandchild Michael Reece.

Fred was always willing to help friends and family and donated his time as a Warden at his church.
