Francis R. DiScala Obituary

Francis J. DiScala, 94, formerly of Norwalk, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2023. The son of the late George and Antoinette (Iacono) DiScala, Frank earned his Juris Doctor (JD) Law degree from Fordham University. He was a champion of the people, always advocating for the underdog through law practice.

Frank is pre-deceased by his wife, Jeanne (Hansen) DiScala, and is survived by his children, Georgette (Cam) Diamandis of Rowayton; Frank DiScala, Jr. of Westport, CT; Carol Calicchio of Delray Beach, FL; John (Natalie) DiScala of Manhattan Beach, CA; and 11 grandchildren.

Frank was larger than life, an avid poet, lover of horse racing, and enjoyed skiing at Sugarbush, VT and vacationing at Watch Hill, RI. But nothing gave him more joy than spending time with his family.

A Catholic Mass will be held at 11AM on Friday, April 14, at St. Joseph's Church, 85 South Main Street, Norwalk, Flowers may be sent to St. Joseph's Church.
