He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hood and Winifred Hood (Culkin); and his siblings, Peggy Rincavage, Mary Schriver, Jean Himm, Joan Dutko and Robert Hood.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Hood (Welter); his sons, Robert Hood of Norwalk, CT, Francis M. Hood of Birchardville and James E. Hood of Birchardville; his grandchildren, Brandon of Destiny, R. J., Brian, Kristie and Amanda; and his great grandchildren, Carina, Alivia and Grayson. He is also survived by nieces, and nephews.
