He was predeceased by: his wife Maryann Zarrelli Bieling; his parents, John Bieling and Gertrude Bieling (O'Brien); and his siblings, Gertrude, Edward, John, Jr. and Gerald.
He is survived by: his children, Donald J. Bieling, Jr. (Danielle), Douglas J. Bieling (Dawn) and Dawn B. Ely (David); his sister Cathy Fratino; and his grandchildren, David, Jr. (Buddy), Emma (Ozer), Christopher (Cruiser) and Logan (Loge). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to a local animal rescue organization.
