David A. L'Archevesque Obituary

David L'Archevesque, 76, of Norwalk, died on Monday, March 31, 2025 at Norwalk Hospital, with his loving family by his side. Born in Fall River, MA, the son of the late Leo George and Emma (Flynn) L'Archevesque, he was also predeceased by his brother Robert.

He earned his Associates Degree from Bristol Community College in Fall River, Massachusetts, and was also a certified baseball umpire. He relocated to Atlanta and began his career in grocery store customer service at Publix Super Market. He excelled at his positions due to his upbeat attitude and friendly disposition. To quote many customers, "he was a joy to work with.". When he relocated to Norwalk in 2017, he worked locally at the Shop Rite grocery store, helping customers with a friendly smile.

Dave moved into Broad River Homes in Norwalk, and quickly made new friends and acquaintances. He had many beautiful memories of his newfound family there. Dave enjoyed his many lunches out with his sister Nancy and his afternoon visits to Taylor Farm Dog Park with his brother Lee.

Dave was an avid New England sports fan. He was an expert in anything Patriots, Celtics and especially Boston Red Sox. Sports brought endless joy to Dave and it was his favorite topic of conversation.

He is survived by his siblings, Charles L'Archevesque and his wife Claire of Omaha, NE, Lee L'Archevesque and his wife Anna of Norwalk, Nancy Crowley and her husband Jeremiah of Norwalk, as well as his sister-in-law, Beverly L'Archevesque of Atlanta. He had many loving nieces and nephews in Norwalk and across the country who adored him.

His Memorial Mass will be held at St. Jerome Church in Norwalk, CT on Friday, April 4 at 11:30am.
