Concetta Palermo Obituary
Concetta "Connie" Palermo, 100 years old, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2025 at Norwalk Hospital. A lifelong resident of Norwalk, the daughter of the late John and Nancy (Garrammone) Restivo, she was also predeceased by two sisters Katherine Young and Teresa Fredricks, and her beloved husband, Angelo Paul Palermo, after 52 years of marriage.
Connie had a 30-plus year career at Ring's End in Darien, working in various capacities, and retired as the administrative assistant to the president.
Connie most enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, cooking, flower gardening, reading, and volunteering at St Jerome Church. Connie lived a long and fulfilling life with an amazing sharpness and wit, which she maintained until the end. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her sons, Paul J. Palermo and his wife Paula, and Alan J. Palermo and his wife Christina Maschke, three loving grandchildren Michael, Christopher and Alexandra Palermo, her brother John Restivo and his wife Marie and her sister, Jean Cook, as well as several loving nieces and nephews.
Her family will receive friends on Monday, February 17 at St. Jerome Church, 23 Half Mile Road, Norwalk, beginning at 9:30 AM, with her Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 10 AM. Calling hours have been omitted and burial will be private.
