He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold J. Bowers and Gertrude Morehouse Bowers; and his siblings, Arthur W. Bowers, Harold J. Bowers, Jr., Clara Hoyt Egeressy and Shirley Loftus.

He is survived by: his brother Raymond (Monika) of Vero Beach, FL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers contributions in Charles' memory may be made to the Whittingham Cancer Center at Norwalk Hospital.
