Carolyn A. Cichowicz Obituary

Carolyn A. Cichowicz, 78, beloved wife of Ed Cichowicz for 47 years, died on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at Norwalk Hospital. Born in Greenwich, daughter of Nick and Julia (Perri) Rosa, she was a devoted family woman.

Carol was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking and taking cruises with her family. Known for her homemade meatballs and Italian cooking, Carol always worked hard to make birthdays and holidays memorable. When not cooking, Carol enjoyed watching her three grandsons at their sports games, concerts, birthdays, and graduations.

In addition to her husband Ed, Carolyn is survived by their daughters Tara Raniolo and her husband Adam, Kristen Cichowicz and Lindsay Cichowicz, as well as three cherished grandchildren Adam Jr., Brendan and Christopher Raniolo, two brothers Nick and Richard Rosa and a sister Sally Rosa, as well as many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her family will receive friends on Sunday, October 13, from 4-7 PM, with a prayer service to begin at 6:30, at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk.
