Andrew David, 76, of Norwalk, died on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Norwalk Hospital. Born in Estill, S.C., the son of Richard and Rosa Lee (Ferguson) David, he was a retired truck driver and painter. He was predeceased by a daughter Tamara Cherry of Jacksonville, Fl., and his brother Nathaniel David of Estill, S.C.
He is survived by his children Bridgette (Ricky) Guytan of Norwalk, CT, Adrienne (Sean) Alexander of Stamford, CT, and Andre Shiggs of Bridgeport, CT. Loving grandchildren, Zoie Alexander Walker, Jaylen Sly Jennings, Shaunna Alexander, Josiah Jordan Shiggs and Kaiden Cole Shiggs, as well as his great-grandchildren and nine siblings; Richardean (Freddie) Dortch of Patterson, NJ, Jannie Heywood of Estill S.C., John David (Brenda) of Estill S.C., Rosetta King of Brooklyn, NY, Lorraine (Isaac) White of Estill, S.C., Darrell (Sheila) David of Estill, S.C., Kenny (Elease) David, Theresa (Jerome) Jones, and Nettie Tyson of Estill, S.C.
His family will receive friends at the Calvary Baptist Church, 21 Concord St, Norwalk on Saturday June 8, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with funeral services to begin at 12:00 p.m.
