He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frederick Anderson and Mildred Anderson (Mariz); his wife Dorothy Thomas Anderson; his son Joe; his grandson Joe Jr.; his children, Judith Taylor (Malcolm) of Hamden and Joseph Anderson (Deborah) of North Branford; his grandchildren, Mary Mealmaker (Craig), John Scallion (Jocelyn Lillis), Joseph Anderson, Jr. and Sarah Anderson; and his siblings, Barbara Abramovitz (Norman) and Richard Anderson (Joan). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
