He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Louis Salvatore and Iris Iannotti Salvatore; his wife Marie Idone Salvatore; his daughter Rosalyn Bannon (Greg Bannon); and his grandchildren, Matthew Bannon and Kaitlin Bannon.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Connecticut.
