She was predeceased by: her parents, John Walter and Margaret Walter (Jenny); her husband Ennu T. Heinonen; her son Neil Heinonen; her granddaughter Erin Heinonen; and her brother Robert Walter.
She is survived by: her children, Tom Heinonen of North Windham, Mark Heinonen (Nancy) of North Franklin, Glenn Heinonen (Susan) of Willimantic, Keith Heinonen (Paula Boudreau) of Colchester and Susan Heinonen Pate (Joe) of Orrington, ME.. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
