He was predeceased by: his parents, George Danforth and Dorothy Danforth (Putnam). He is survived by: his wife Deborah Danforth (Miller Jehan); his daughters, Wendy Yagarich and Kim Kassim (Kamal Kassim); his sister Jean; his brother-in-law Ross Aiello II; and his granddaughters, Kayla, Kira Kassim and Hailey Yagarich. He is also survived by two nieces and two nephews, as well as eight great nieces and nephews.
