He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Grufstedt and Madolyn Grufstedt (Leslie). He is survived by: his wife Susan; his child Seija Grufstedt of North Stonington; his son-in-law Bill Whiting; his grandchildren, Piersson, Benton and Adalyn; his child-in-law Aron Grufstedt of Norwalk, CT; and his children, Mabel, Cora and Stefan Grufstedt of North Stonington. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
