He was predeceased by: his parents, John Leary and Sarah Leary (Dunn); and his wife Margaret B. Leary. He is survived by: his children, Andrew Leary (Louann) of Groton and Joanna Beyer of Guilford; his brother Bill; his sister-in-law Sherry Leary of Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Caroline M. Beyer, Thomas M. Beyer and Travis J. Leary.
Donations in his memory can be made to the North Stonington Volunteer Fire Company, of which he was a life member.
