He was predeceased by: his parents, John Leary and Sarah Leary (Dunn); and his wife Margaret B. Leary. He is survived by: his children, Andrew Leary (Louann) of Groton and Joanna Beyer of Guilford; his brother Bill; his sister-in-law Sherry Leary of Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Caroline M. Beyer, Thomas M. Beyer and Travis J. Leary.
A reception was held on Tuesday, September 3rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mystic Funeral Home (51 Williams Ave, Mystic, CT 06355).
Donations in his memory can be made to the North Stonington Volunteer Fire Company, of which he was a life member.
