He is survived by: his wife Anita Faustine Ames (Coats); his children, Charles Ames, Jr., Kevin Ames (Susan) and Lisa Aarrestad (Peter); his grandchildren, Jordon Ames, Corey Ames, Emma Ames, Kelsey Aarrestad (Matt) and Ansel Aarrestad (Holly); and his siblings, Paul Ames (Heather), Audrey Robertson and Helen Oliverio. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
