She was predeceased by: her husband Charles A. Ames Sr.; her parents, Ansel Wheeler and Marjorie Coats (Gray); and her sisters, Audrey Gruber (Bill) and Elizabeth Bruce (Jim).
She is survived by: her children, Charles Ames Jr., Kevin Ames (Susan) and Lisa Aarrestad (Peter); her grandchildren, Jordon, Corey, Kelsey (Matthew), Emma and Ansel (Holly); her great grandchildren, Zoe, Theodore and Kehlani; and her siblings, Gayle Williams (Dick), Marilyn Taylor (Kip), Sheri Nardi (Ed) and Wayne Coats (Linda). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
