It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sherman Katz of North Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on January 17, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sally Weil Katz; his parents, Israel G. Katz and Laura "Libby" Gurvich Katz; his children, Susan Swirsky (David) and Michael Katz (Helene Victoria); his grandchildren, Nicole, Adam, Meghan, Alanna and Deanna; and his brothers, Ronald, Daniel and Michael Katz.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the North Haven Funeral Home (36 Washington Ave, North Haven, CT 06473). The military honors will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home (36 Washington Ave, North Haven, CT 06473).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, American Heart, American Cancer or the American Diabetes Associations.
