Rose Marie left this world on February 6, 2025 at the age of 78, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. In the vast expanse of eternity, Rose Marie shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Rose Marie farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Salvatore "Tudy" Christoforo and Madelyn "Dolly" Christoforo (Migliaro); her brother Michael S. Christoforo; and her husband Robert E. Mitchell. She is survived by: her great-nieces and great-nephews, Patrick, Andrea and Jennifer; and also George Mitchell. She is also survived by four great-great-nieces and many cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the North Haven Funeral Home (36 Washington Ave, North Haven, CT 06473). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Therese Church (555 Middletown Ave, North Haven, CT 06401).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Tunnels to Towers, honoring Rose's compassionate spirit.
