We are sad to announce that on January 11, 2025, at the age of 93, Robert Joseph Hying Sr. of North Haven, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sebastian Hying and Celestine Hying (Coyne); and his siblings, Francis V. Hying, Lawrence Hying, Dorothy Lomasney and Dolores Badr.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Curran Hying; his children, Robert Joseph Hying, Jr. and Elizabeth "Lisa" Albano (Kevin); his grandchildren, Mary E. Albano and Kevin P. Albano (Lauren); and his siblings, Virginia Mullholland, Rosemary Misslich (Tony) and Lynn Davis (Edwin). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the North Haven Funeral Home (36 Washington Ave, North Haven, CT 06473). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Therese Church (555 Middletown Ave, North Haven, CT 06401).
