He was predeceased by: his parents, Christine Lewis and Robert Burroughs. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Burroughs; his grandchildren, Anthony Burroughs (Awilda), Alyssa Toni and Brandon Antonio Burroughs; his great grandchild Lailah J. Cotten; and also, Christine Sherwood (Michael), Christina Suliman, Reginald Toney, Dondi Burroughs (Surbrina), Dondi Burroughs Jr., Kayla Burroughs, Mekhi Burroughs, Donovan Burroughs, Robert Burroughs Jr. (Jessica), Dominique, Ballad Bobbi, Robert Burroughs IV and Terrance Burroughs (Michelle).

A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (885 Wintergreen Ave, Hamden, CT 06514).
