He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Lafond and Rhea Lambert Lafond; his daughter-in-law Holly Lafond; and his brothers, Norman and Henry Lafond.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Snyder Lafond; his sons, David Lafond and James Lafond (Carol); and his grandchildren, James, Elizabeth, David Lafond Jr., Britnee Wojna (David) and Julia Lafond. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the North Haven Funeral Home (36 Washington Ave, North Haven, CT 06473). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
