She was predeceased by: her husband Dagobert "Dag" Pfeiffer; her father George H. E. Smith; her sister Mary MacCaulty; and her nephew John Carroll. She is survived by: her children, Eric Pfeiffer of Mancos, CO, Elizabeth Aivano (David) of Berlin, CT and John Pfeiffer of Mancos, CO; her grandchildren, Derek Aivano (Casey) and Lauren Dymtrow (David); her stepgrandchildren, Shawn Eastman (Heather), Shannon DeMello (Chuck) and Ryan Eastman (Senika); her great grandchildren, Molly, Charlotte, Brody, Brennon and Hazel; her nieces, Candace Carroll and Bonnie-Mary Carroll; and her pet Rishu.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the North Haven Funeral Home (36 Washington Ave, North Haven, CT 06473). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish in St. Therese Church (555 Middletown Ave, North Haven, CT 06473).
