It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael E Quitko of North Haven, Connecticut, born in Brooklyn, Connecticut, who passed away on May 27, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Murray Quitko; and his brother-in-law Terry Moore. He is survived by: his wife Betsy Moore Quitko; his daughter Megan Gerhardt (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Lylah and Maxwell; his siblings, Freda Quitko, Harvey and Sandie Quitko; and his sister-in-law Lynda Moore. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He will be missed by many and made a great contribution to the sport of tennis and made a positive impact on the students he coached.
