It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion Butler Cote of North Haven, Connecticut, born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on February 19, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Thomas and Margaret Thomas (Kelsey); her great grandchild Maya Bautista-Murphy; and her sister-in-law Rosemary Cote. She is survived by: her husband John Cote; her children, Diane Ascenzia (John) of West Haven, Dodi Bavaro of West Haven, Debra D'Amato (Walter Radziszewski) of Branford and Dawn Murphy (James) of Kansas; her siblings, Barbara Roberts of East Haven, Donald Thomas (Margaret) of East Haven and Greg Thomas (BJ) of Guilford; and her stepchildren, John Cote Jr. (Ann) of North Haven, David Cote (Ann) of Bethany, Renee Wozniak (Mark) of East Hampton and Kevin Cote (Tricia) of North Haven. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
