She was predeceased by: her husband Salvatore Aurora; her parents, Joseph Massa and Catherine Buonacore Massa; her son Nicholas S. Aurora; and her sister-in-law Christine Massa.
She is survived by: her children, Joanne Serio (Richard), James J. Aurora (Merrilee McFeaters), John A. Aurora (Rose) and Kathy Mendillo (Michael); her grandsons, Christopher Serio (Lisa), Nicholas S. Aurora, Jr. (Brooke), Joseph Aurora (Angela Pasquale), Gregory Aurora (Marissa), Michael Mendillo, Jr. (Emma) and John A. Aurora, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Rosalia, Katarina Serio, Mason and Roman Aurora; and her siblings, Joseph A. Massa (Anthony Massa), Louise Pazik, Anna Izzo and Mary Buonome (Margaret Iannitti). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
