We are sad to announce that on August 19, 2023, at the age of 86, John Acampora of North Haven, Connecticut, born in New Haven, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvatore Acampora and Rose Acampora (Carbone); his daughter Roseann Acampora; and his sisters, Joann Taneszio and Catherine Verab.
He is survived by: his children, John Acampora Jr. of North Haven and Patricia Acampora of Tarpon Springs, FL; his grandchildren, Alyssa Clark (Jim), Jenna Pomichter (Mason Leege), Jocelyn Ramirez, Jillian Brewi (Patrick), Jacqueline Acampora and Kayla Acampora; and his sisters, Rosemarie Wojciechowski of New Haven and Elaine Rubino of East Haven. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
