It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Christine Sgro (North Haven, Connecticut), born in Ansonia, Connecticut, who passed away on February 24, 2022, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Sgro; her parents, Angelo Zarbo and Mary Piccolo Zarbo; and her brother Charles. She is survived by: her children, Judith Ann D'Aurio (late Joseph), Elvera Jean Gauthier (Michael) and Joseph Sgro, Jr. (Jackie); and her siblings, James Zarbo, Rose Bellio, Joseph and Anna Cosenza. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
