She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence G. Smith; and her parents, Wesley O'Brien and Elsie Cassidy O'Brien. She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Gargano (Gary) and Jane Pieper; her siblings, Eileen Brown of North Haven, Andrea Connolly of North Haven and Wesley O'Brien Jr. of North Haven; her grandchildren, Andrew Gargano (Kylie), Olivia Gargano, Lucas Gargano, Charles Pieper, Maxwell Pieper and Harry Pieper; and her great grandchildren, Leo and Jack Gargano.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Beecher & Bennett Funeral Service - Hamden (2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden, CT 06518).
