He was predeceased by: his parents, Lionel Poirier and Loretta Poirier (Dion). He is survived by: his spouse Theresa Poirier (Brousseau); and his children, Gary Thorstenson (Diana) of East Lyme, Charles Thorstenson (JoAnn), Michael Thorstenson (Marlene) of Vernon and Linda Keeling (George) of Dayville. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
