He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph A. Adams and Isabelle E. Adams (Rogers); his son Timothy Michael Adams; his granddaughter Samantha Jean Seger; and his siblings, Nancy Carroll, Robert Adams and Donald Adams.

He is survived by: his daughter Pam; his granddaughter Dorie; his wife Doris; his children, Pamela Seger, William "Andy" Adams (Sharmilee), Marjorie Adams Boulais (Richard) and Norman "Lee" Adams; his great grandchildren, Isabelle, Ana, Gianni, Allie and Joey; his granddaughter Sheri Seger (Ron Dombrowski); his great grandchildren, Gwen, Tessa and Axel; his brother William Adams; and also, Hunter and Natalya.

He worked at Combustion Engineering for years before beginning a career at Perry Technology in New Hartford, where he worked until he was 88 years old and the pandemic guidelines finally forced him to stay home.
