He was predeceased by: his parents, William Smith and Agnes Smith of Ansonia, CT.; his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Smith; and his siblings, James Smith and Jeanne Walsh.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert Smith of Newington and Brian Smith (Penny) of North Branford. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
