He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar T. Modine and Mildred Anzel Modine; his brother Richard Modine; his sons, David Modine and Mark Modine; his grandchildren, Jeffery Modine, Lauren Modine, Michael C. Modine and Morgan J. Modine; and his great grandchild Julian Modine.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Modine; his brother Jack Modine (Laurie); his children, Michael Modine (Christy), Joe Modine, Nancy Modine and Annie Houle (John); his daughter-in-law Karen Modine; and his godson Dan Dryzgula. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the North Haven Funeral Home (36 Washington Ave, North Haven, CT 06473). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
