He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Theodore Babbitt and Margaret Fisher Babbitt; his wife Betsy Hurd; his son Timothy; his brother Thomas; his children, Theodore (Penny), Katharine (Stephen Spaeth), Margaret (Jerry Fields) and Eleanor; and his brother Samuel. He was also cherished by 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Despite all efforts to keep him safe, he died of COVID-19.
