She is survived by: her daughter Amelia Ewan (Dave); her grandchildren, Bronn and Calliope; her siblings, Patrick Toensmeier, Jr. of Hamden and Betsy Toensmeier; her niece Lauren Havens of Albuquerque, NM; her aunt Nancy Maar; and her cousins, Barbara Dooling (Pat), Kathy Zuppe (Bob) and Bill Lynch (Barbara).
