He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Margaret Campano Altieri; and his brothers, Angelo, Louis, John and Anthony Altieri.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Colberg Altieri; his children, Joseph Altieri, Jr. (Ivette), Alphonse Altieri (Roselyn), Christina Altieri and David Vega; his sister Rosemarie Bayer; and his grandchildren, Alex, Selena, Anthony, Joseph, Melvin, Ashley, Diamond and Sherlynn.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. (11 Wooster Pl, New Haven, CT 06511). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
