It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Franz P. Jauernig of North Branford, Connecticut, who passed away on February 7, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin Jauernig and Teresa Jauernig (Reynolds); his son Peter Jauernig; and his aunt Anna Jauernig Sivigny. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his daughter Cynthia Jauernig (Leif Selander); his grandsons, Mathew Jauernig Healey of Arlington Virginia and Peter Jauernig Healey of Boston Massachusetts; his pet Gemma; and his friend Oliver.
