He was predeceased by: his parent Theodoros Mais; and his brother Christoforos. He is survived by: his parent Aikaterini Parashoulaki Mais; his daughters, Elizabeth Mais of Wilmington, N. C. and Katherine Mais of Ansonia; his brothers, Stefanos and Stavros; his grandchildren, Edward Latham, Dylan Ruane and Christyan Mais; and his former wife Carol Mais. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
