Jay R. Ashton Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jay R. Ashton of Noank, Connecticut, born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on May 16, 2021, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Lindsay Ashton (Scroggins); his parents, Ann Ashton (Morrison) of Mystic and Richard C. Ashton; his siblings, Frederick Ashton (Stephanie), Mary Ashton of Waterford and Robert Ashton (Marialice) of Toledo, OH; his siblings-in-law, Michael Scroggins (Rei-Anne) of Palm Coast, FL, Jamie Scroggins (Brenda) of Mystic, Patricia Stenz of Mystic and Elizabeth Rowley of Fernandina Beach, FL; his nieces and nephews, Frederick Jr. (Paola), Stephen (Nicole), Alexa (Cori-Jo), Cori Ann, Braden, Robert (Cabrina), Jon, Kelani, Andrew and Heather; his great-nieces, Talulah and Bella; his pet Katie-Kat; his sister-in-law Ann Haddon; and his niece Brooke Elizabeth Ashton.

For fully vaccinated individuals, face masks are not required when entering the funeral home.
