Barbara Ruth Deshefy Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Ruth Deshefy of Noank, Connecticut, born in Yonkers, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 5, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Retoske and Hermina Retoske (Sekora); and her child Drew Deshefy (Joan). She is survived by: her children, Scott Deshefy (Nancy), Dawn Deshefy and Diane Nichols (George); her grandchildren, Jodi, Matthew, Alea, Sawyer, Colt and Weston; and her great grandchildren, Drew, Bree, Paityn, Lily, Ivy and Mathew-Christopher.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara's memory may be made to the CT Humane Society or other animal welfare causes.
