With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard A. Mingo (Niantic, Connecticut), born in New York, New York, who passed away on November 3, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon; his parents, John A. Sr. Mingo and Flerida T. Mingo of Waterford, CT; and his brother John A. Mingo, Jr. of Waterford, CT.. He is survived by: his children, James (Kathleen) of East Lyme, CT., Peter (Patricia) of Ocean View, NJ. and Kristine of Niantic, CT; his grandchildren, Nicole, Jessica, Adrienne and Jack; and his brother Robert (Robin) of Norwich. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A loving and dedicated pet owner, Richard would ask that in lieu of flowers, any memorial contributions be directed to the Waterford-East Lyme Animal Control Shelter, 120 Chester Street, New London, CT, 06320 ([email protected]) .
