It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael P. Tierney of Niantic, Connecticut, who passed away on January 16, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert John Tierney and Jean Tierney (Hagenow). He is survived by: his friend Kellen; his wife Karen Tierney (Latini) of Niantic; his son Brendan (Cassandra); his grandchildren, Julia, Margaret and Patrick; his son Daniel (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Amalia and Auden; his sister Marcia Looney (Kevin) of Bolton; his niece Laura Persson (Erik) of New York; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Mia and Declan; his nephew Robert "Alex" Looney; his niece Emily Tolx of Idaho; and also Ollie.
