He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Knight and Mary Knight (Jones); his son Jacky Knight; and his brothers, Walter Jr., Eddie and Vernell Knight.
He is survived by: his children, Alton "Ray", Margaret, Jesse, Leah and Kenneth Knight; and his sisters, Louise of Princeville, NC, Christine of New London, Juanita of New London and Shernell of Waterford. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and one on the way; nine great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
