We bid farewell to Jeanne Summerhayes-Shea of Niantic, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 6, 2025 at the age of 77. Jeanne touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Nicholas Seibert and Mary Donnelly Seibert; her former husband Edward Summerhayes; her husband Daniel of Niantic; her sister Michelle Valair (Robert) of Norwood, MA; her nephews, Christopher, Steven and Robbie Valair; her sister-in-law Pam Seibert; her niece Allison Seibert Jensen; and her brother Joseph Seibert.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Agnes Church (22 Haigh Ave, Niantic, CT 06357).
The family wishes you to consider making a memorial contribution to the Alzheimer's Foundation as Jeanne donated her brain to Yale University as part of an ongoing study of dementia.
