She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles A. Dowd and B. Gertrude Dowd. She is survived by: her children, Alexandra (Mark Rosenthal), Joseph (Dana Schmidl) and Carl (Tina Alexander); her grandchildren, Anastasia, Peninah, Connor, Quinn, Rowan and August; and her godchildren, Rosemary, Chuck, Larry and Mary. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Gwen requested that friends and family make charitable donations in her memory to your local parish church or to St. Agnes Church, 22 Haigh Avenue, Niantic.
