He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Santos and Alice Bouge Santos; and his brother John Santos. He is survived by: his wife Judith Santos (Arneth); his children, Daniel W. Santos III (Traci) of Waterford, John Santos (Leanne) of East Lyme, Cheryl Fernald (Dale Ferland) of Walpole, N. H. and Jeffrey Santos (Dana) of Quaker Hill; his grandchildren, Daniel Santos, Alyssa Santos, Kylee Santos, Kaleigh Canfield (Justin), Ryan Fernald (Arianna), Chelsea Santos and Lauren Santos; and his siblings, Richard Santos (Pam) of Nashville and Debbie Seeyle (Scott) of Puyallup.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Fairview Nursing Facility or Saint Jude's Children's Hospital.
