William Frederick Waananen Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Frederick Waananen of Newtown, Connecticut, born in Union City, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 11, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, William is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that William's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Waananen and Christine Waananen. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Waananen; his daughters, Amy Roman of Newtown, Connecticut. and Janis Flynn (Sean) of Newtown, Connecticut.; and his grandchildren, Alexander, Aron, Robert and Kaitlyn.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home (235 Main St N, Southbury, CT 06488).
