She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandparents, James Rufus Scales and Martha Anne Shore; her mother Emily Scales; her brother Rhoba B. Scales; her grandson Justin Miller; her sons, Edward, Terry Miller, Charles Miller of Rocky Hill, CT and James Robert Miller of Cheyenne; her grandchildren, Christopher Miller (Karina), Amy Taylor (Jeff), Heather Miller and Angelene Hayes; her son William Miller; her grandchildren, Tanja, Eddie Jr., Terry Jr., Delores and Russell; and her daughter Nancy Anderson. She was also cherished by family members, in-laws, and friends.
Not even COVID-19 could stop Sadie from celebrating a socially distant 99th Birthday, where friends and family made signs, brought balloons, and wished her well through a window.
