It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Skuba Sr. of Newtown, Connecticut, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on June 24, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Skuba and Marguerite Skuba (Hornak); his siblings, Nick Skuba and MaryBeth Donohue; and his father-in-law Salvatore A. DeBenedetto.
He is survived by: his wife Diane DeBenedetto Skuba; his children, Robert A. Skuba Jr. of Newtown and Diane L. Skuba of Newtown; his sister Marguerite Ruot of Florida; his mother-in-law June DeBenedetto of Newtown; and his pet Opie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
